looking for a .lit of new NR book, above. I have a freeware site that can help you.

I use the program ConverLIT GUI, which opens from Word. It's a neat program - it sets up a little icon on a toolbar and it takes like 10 seconds to do its job - you can also save a .jpeg or other format picture for its cover. I usually go to Amazon and Save As... the cover image from there.

I downloaded from here, which guarantees a clean copy (and it was!):

To get to PDF, also from Word, I use another small & easy program called dopdf. There are other PDF converters, but the other big ones I saw had more bells & whistles, unnecessary to me, and they were memory hogs. dopdf is simple, you just access it as you would a printer from Word, and it saves a PDF as the print output. I downloaded directly from the site, which gave me a clean copy.

To get from HTML to Word to .lit is just a simple matter of cut & paste, plus some formatting usually (Select ALL, change font if you like, paragraph --> first line indent helps readability too).

You don't need to convert from HTML to Word to use dopdf though - it's available as a "printer" in any place you can print from, including web. Whether you get a clean/readable PDF copy or not, from HTML, depends on the quality of the HTML download though.
