Just got it today and personally so far im not really that overly impressed with it :| I booted some annoying ass guy a few times then after that it stopped working, he said his comp recognizes IP's and will then block out everything from it, Then some other guy being annoying on mic, I couldn't boot him at all, Not sure what client he was on.

So the only client this is supposed to not be able to boot is Gawd? Cause there are a hella a lot of people i can't seem to boot or if i do boot them a few times they come back and i can't boot them anymore. I use 30 bots, dunno wtf is going on. I doubt that many people run around using gawd, Is there any way to tell if the person is using gawd? Like will they still be able to chat in the room and go on mic and cams with the ID? im trying to boot?

best thing to do is lock account first then hit with boot it takes them an extra min to get back in and it stops the resume on most clients

everything but gawd, however, what you may "see" may not what is going on, if you boot yazak or yahelite or y!mlite, they do get d/ced, run yazak, run yahoo messenger, add the ID of yazak into yahoo messenger and then boot it, you'll see the ID flash on/offline, due to a bug in yahoo a person is able to loose total connection, messenger/chat reconnect to messenger and the text from the chat room still gets sent to your client..

So? you say well think about this.

In Y!mLite you have "login to pager mode only" at the bottom of the login window, once you're in the chat room you could simply switch the power off button at the wall (not suggesting you do, it's bad for the computer, hard disk not parking properly bleah bleah) so that your machine is off dead, go and watch some TV for an hour (up to 3 hours worth) then switch the computer on, run y!mlite..

before you do anything tick the "login to messenger only" mode checkbox, then press connect, you'll notice you can see chat text still and if you type people will see you, but you were not there your computer was not even on, this is a BIG bug yahoo's side before the new server changes you were able to type but not see text "sticky" issue, if yahoo fix that, sbooter will take out any chat client first time every time, yazak. yahelite, y!mlite no problem right now chat clients are using a bug in yahoo to get around this booter, but having said that, they still get booted.

1. login yahoo messenger, add the ID you're going to boot (who's on say yazak)
2. Hit that ID, watch the ID go offline/online again in messenger
3. watch how the ID never leaves the room

But 2 things happen, 1, they get d/ced 2. that that period in time they get no text and all their buddylist comes flooding in each time.

I actually don't think they are getting booted at all though, Cause they are still talking on Mic, and if they have ears on in the room and they get booted will the ears dissapear?

matt325..when you boot a person other than on Yahoo Messenger..dont neccessarily mean they will loose voice. They can be booted and even name will leave room at times but still be riding the voice server..due to having a vox open or something of that nature.
