i do hope this proggy do get someones ip. AFAIK, you can only get someones ip thru a p2p connection which you cant obtain thru pms. most if not all ip getter programs yield yahoo servers ip address and not the intended victim.

impact ip getters like sharp will get victim ip if they not using any net security or proxys, some proggys like aport or netstat you have to send a file then it will show you what ip you're connected to when sending the file

im also using aport to monitor the ips my pc is connected to (very useful if you suspect your pc is trojanned or is being hacked). if you have this, no need to use the netstat command.
ive tried sharp's ip getter briefly some time ago but its way off the functionality of aport.
its best if these programs logs the ips on real time since the remote ips shows very briefly in the said proggies even if you send a large file to a target using IM. having your target on cam and accessing it doesnt help too.

basically if you get a half decent root kit it doesnt matter what softweare you use no net * commands will work EG:netstat etc but basically u dont need this the simple ping comamnd works fine with option 7 or use nettools :|
