As far as I know, VC Guard was not updated from May 2007. Though the source code is available publicly .

This version .. according to some of my inner friends at ytk.. says Vc Sync is very similar.. so i dunno i use both vc sync with my ytk, and vc guard 2.1.58 for everything else

i tried using it with yahvox domination and it doesnt work!....vc sync does!

add the program to ur windows firewall exceptions list... then add 3 ports(5000, 5001 and 13337.... "tcp") to it. Dont forget to give firewall by pass from ur AVP too

Lol bro , the guy who made YTK's voice sync made this after its also actually better , only problem with it is it can actually freeze you if your not using it for any length of time , ie:- installed on two or more pc's and left contected to the one your not talking thro , i use it if playing music to stop muppets from god knows where saying "hello" or there version of it lol as in "arro" and btw stop nicking my downloads , bloody shoplifter

actually.. the anti-lagg feature is on YTK, VC Sync is lil bit of that, and a lil more..which is the VC Dominance.. which i believe[VC Sync] is much different approach to VC Dom, than the other VC Dom apps out there [YahVox Dom]...hense the insistance of YTK staff to state it is 'experimental' ..

but VC Guard 2[1].1.58's Dom is only good once ya have Mic, and the general understanding of the basics of having it and maintaining it..

so this is just one of many tools you can use to keep mic.. if vc is your main thing in chat rooms..

some choose booting..
some choose room text lag or locking..
some choose vc/mass iggy
usually a team effort on my half... buddy Matt & i have fun.. he mass iggies, and keys up under me, while i hold it with VC Guard 2.1.58, everyone else.. eats hard beeps..lmao
