Exclamation Problem Signing In Yahoo
i reformated my PC and installed windows xp professional.. i installed yahoo messenger 8.1 from the yahoo website.. i tried logging in.. but after i click sign in the yahoo program exits..

I tried the following steps i see on answers @ yahoo
-delete the explorer.exe then run it in the task manager..

it works but for short time the yahoo again exits..
Now when i click yahoo messenger theres a application error..

YAHOOMESSENGER.EXE - APPLICATION ERROR
The exception Breakpoint
A breakpoint has been reached
(0x80000003) occured in the application at location 0x04416922.
Click on OK to terminate the program

Hope someone help me with this..

Also i have problem with my keyboard

SHIFT+2 results to "
SHIFT+3 results to £
SHIFT+' results to @

any idea?

There is no problem with Yahoo Messenger.exe.
Make sure the windows you got is not pirated or its not a junk even if its pirated
Make sure you update ur windows before installin any other stuff

Mostly likely ur explorer is corrupted when u said " A breakpoint has been reached
(0x80000003) occured in the application at location 0x04416922 " and in that case I would go for reformating my system with the right windows.

i have fix the yahoo messengser.. its a virus amvo.exe..

but my keyboard is not yet fix..

also there's a vb script in the title bar.. its a space before the title.. like this!

Default Yahoo messenger Log in problems all here!!!
Hey I was on YM about 30 mins ago and logged out to restart YM then when i try to log back in i just get stuck at "Signing in to so and so" and it stays there or kicks me back to the login screen after a bit sometimes. I have tried logging in on my other accounts and the same thing. I haven't booted anyone today or locked any accounts o i doubt my IP got banned somehow.

Try and log into your account thru the yahoo webpage... If it's locked, try logging in to their (Yahoo's) website, it should unlock it. If you are able to log into Yahoo's website, and still not messanger, wait two hours from when this happened, and try logging in Yahoo Messy again... The account may have a 2 hour IP ban... I hope this helps...

I can login through the yahoo website, I just can't login any ID at all though YM.
