Yahoo! Messenger Crashes On XP SP3
Microsoft just released a beta of the new service pack 3 for the Windows XP OS. There are some people are having issues running the 8.1 version of Yahoo! Messenger.
 Some reports are saying that it will freeze after only 30 minutes of use. After sending feedback to Yahoo!, a response saying that the version of Yahoo! Messenger was not installed properly, and you are advised to simply do a re-install of the product. The only problem being that the same issues will continue to happen even after a fresh install of Yahoo! Messenger. Perhaps the beta version of messenger will fair better with the new service pack. |

i also used to get many messages as that as i was to sign in yahoo messenger but it was working for 3 days after my installation and then it got worse so i had to reinstalled xp3 and now i think its working fine but also there are some more other problem like i could not use multiple messenger.

as i experienced winxp sp3 with ym8... works fine... idk how it is happened but try this...
install first ym9 then overwrite with ym8... that's what i do (actually it was accidentaly installed, til i found out that ym8 works fine until the time i do that) or the better way... downgrade to winxp sp2 Note: Expect errors/crash(sometimes) on ymtools (booters,anti's etc. exept clients) with winxpsp3 |
