hmm...
just need suggestions.... when i installing this hardware...this error always 2 or 3 times will came up...and after install it i cant use it properly...i mean its not working properly.... i dont know whats the problem with my computer...coz i try to install this hardware to my friend's computer but no problem with it....hope will someone help me..... ![]() |

I have same problem with my sound card s/ware everytime I install . . .. I just click on CONTINUE ANYWAY. . . . its just microsoft's way of selling service/support lol.

That error just means that it isn't on Microsoft's hardware compatibility list. Shouldn't cause a problem if you simply click continue anyway. Has nothing to do with an "unregistered OS". It just means that the hardware you're installing was not tested by Microsoft for compatibility with Windows.
If you click Continue Anyway and can't install it this way the problem is not the hardware or the driver. Could be your OS. Make a backup of all necessary files and reformat if you cant find any other solution. Could also try to locate a different driver. See if there is a newer version available or even a Windows 2000 driver (99% of Win2K drivers are also compatible with XP) Last edited by ballzjohnson : 08-30-2008 at 03:05 PM. |

It means the driver is not registered as Windows compatible but that shouldn't be a problem. You can turn off Driver Authentication from the Control Panel in XP.
Did you use Roland's uninstall and cleaner utility before trying to reinstalling the driver? You can get the utility and drivers from here; [Only registered users can see links. ] TaZMAn |
