how to lock desktop?
any1 here know how to lock desktop?? there is a tuto that i read.. this regsvr32.exe then user32.dll thing... but not working.. if u know any tuto or any software needed,, pls tell me immediately... coz i really need it..thanx in advance

I'm not sure what you meant.
In XP however there is functionality which allows password protection (locking) to Screensavers. This is my way of locking the desktop so that my lil bro couldnt mess my work while I'm away shortly. I just set the time to 1 minute. Other than that, I also wish to know. Sorry bro, this is only what a newbie like me can share ATM. Peace! |

I have done what you specified. I will not double click it unless I know how to unlock it. What you meant by WIndows must be password protected. How do I do it Bro. I dont know how to proceed. Can you also give pics, please? I bet Bro Hex would love this also. Cheers |

Would it be as Admin or any user? Btw, how does it look when unlocking?  Does this work for both XP and Vista?Just iggy my questions Bros. I figured it out already. More power to you. bro if its your own system, your account is an admin account, bt doesn matter its type ( administrator or limited ), you can set password for it anyway
