Dry Mutton
Dry Mutton
Ingredients:
- 4 Cloves
- 5 Cardamoms
- ½ cup of Ghee
- 500 gms Mutton
- 2 Onions, chopped
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 2 Cinnamon pieces
- 1 tbsp Curd, beaten
- 3 tsp Cumin powder
- 2 Black Cardamoms
- 2 Tomatoes, chopped
- Salt according to taste
- 5 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
Method:- Heat ghee, add cloves, cinnamon, cardamoms, onions and fry untill brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and fry. Then add coriander and cumin powder.
- Now add tomatoes, curd, meat, salt and chilli powder and fry it untill the meat juices are absorbed.
- Add 4 cups of water and cook on low fire untill done and the mutton is dry. Sprinkle coriander leaves.
Tip: When grilling chicken, place bony or rib-cage side of chicken down next to heat first. The bones act as an insulator and keep chicken from browning too fast.
