Post Dry Mutton

Dry Mutton

Ingredients:
  • 4 Cloves
  • 5 Cardamoms
  • ½ cup of Ghee
  • 500 gms Mutton
  • 2 Onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 2 Cinnamon pieces
  • 1 tbsp Curd, beaten
  • 3 tsp Cumin powder
  • 2 Black Cardamoms
  • 2 Tomatoes, chopped
  • Salt according to taste
  • 5 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
Method:
  • Heat ghee, add cloves, cinnamon, cardamoms, onions and fry untill brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry. Then add coriander and cumin powder.
  • Now add tomatoes, curd, meat, salt and chilli powder and fry it untill the meat juices are absorbed.
  • Add 4 cups of water and cook on low fire untill done and the mutton is dry. Sprinkle coriander leaves.
Tip: When grilling chicken, place bony or rib-cage side of chicken down next to heat first. The bones act as an insulator and keep chicken from browning too fast.
