Post Spaghetti and Meatballs

Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients:
  • 2 Eggs
  • Spaghetti
  • ½ kg Minced meat
  • ½ cup Bread crumbs
  • 6 cups Chicken stock
  • Salt according to taste

    Sauce:
  • 2 tbsps Oil
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ajwain
  • Salt according to taste
  • 5-6 Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2-3 Onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garlic, finely chopped
Method:
  • Mix mince meat with all the dry ingredients and eggs.
  • Make small balls and cook in chicken stock for 15-20 minutes. Keep aside.
  • For sauce heat oil, sauté garlic then onion till light brown.
  • Add tomatoes and cook till tender.
  • Add all the ingredients and make a paste.
  • Add water if required.
  • Boil spaghetti as per instructions on packet.
  • Place hot spaghetti on a plate, put meat balls on it.
  • Sprinkle some chicken stock.
  • Cover with tomato paste and sprinkle with parmesan cheese powder.
Tip: Don't salt meat before you cook it. The salt forces the juices out and impedes browning. Instead, salt meat halfway through cooking, then taste when the meat is done and adjust the salt as needed.
