played by a few instruments with power and tightness.
the term was used already in jazz and blues 70 years ago in
swing big bands (count basie's were excellent).
in classical music the parallel term is Tuti (together in latin).

some of the riffs are hard to play at the begining and i recomend to
listen carefully to the riff in the cd before starting the actual study.

the riffs written in stanard notes and also in tabs (ancient method
that were used to write the notes for lute, 500 years ago.
pay attention to the symbols of how to pick, slides and so on.
