10 easy steps for faster dialup connection

OK SO YOU MUST BE TIRED OF YOUR SLOW ASS DIAL UP CONNECTION, RUNNING AT MAX 54kbps, I WAS WORSE, 28.8kbps. BUT THEN I FOUND A TWEAK THAT ALLOWED ME TO CONNECT WITH A DIAL UP MODEM AT 115kbps. THIS TWEAK MAY NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE, IF YOU GET AN ERROR SAYING “MODEM NOT RESPONDING” GO BACK AND DELETE THE EXTRA CODE THAT YOU PUT IN, AND RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AND EVERYTHING SHOULD BE FINE.

HERE IS WHAT YOU DO:

1. GO TO YOUR START MENU

2. OPEN YOUR CONTROL PANEL

3. OPEN PHONE AND MODEM OPTIONS (XP USERS WILL HAVE TO CLICK SWITCH TO CLASSIC VIEW ON THE LEFT SIDE TO SEE THIS OPTION)

4. SELECT THE MODEMS TAB

5. SELECT YOUR MODEM, AND CLICK PROPERTIES

6. CLICK ON THE ADVANCED TAB

7. THEN YOU WILL SEE A BOX THAT SAYS ADVANCED SETTINGS
- AND UNDER IT A TEXT BOX WITH "Extra initialization commands"

8. IN THE TEXT BOX PUT &AX&FX JUST HOW YOU SEE IT IN THIS TEXT.

9. CLICK "OK" TO CLOSE THAT BOX

10. CLICK "OK" AGAIN

AND THATS IT, YOU HAVE NOW TWEAKED YOUR MODEM TO CONNECT AT A VERY HIGH SPEED FOR A DIAL UP MODEM.

hi bro gunman nice trick man although i got broadband connection , but just to check and conferm this thing i ve put a dialup connection on my pc for a while and it increases the shown connection speed 230.8 kbps to me .....heheheh nic one but i wanna tell u one thing .... its just a trick to the show users ther connection speed at the time of connection was made by the telephone line to a server. infact if u see your actuall speed on internet connection monitor it will give u the actuall one and it will be less then 56 kbps ... but its a nice tweek to fools arround your friends for fun .... tc bro

it is real it will make you connect to the inter net like 280+ speed but try to have speed test using this tweak for you to see the real speed its a speed of 56k modem hahaha its only change your increase speed not the actual speed but nice tut to fool some one.

AT&FX work also but u cant get faster than 56k lol so it doesnt actually work
