I will show you how to exclude boot programs from NOD32
So you do not have to turn off your antivirus program to use them. Most antivirus programs have this function. Make a folder, put all your boot programs in that folder then open NOD32 and exclude the folder you made (and subfolders) from the file system monitor AMON However you will still have to turn off your antivirus to extract the booter .EXE file thats in RAR or ZIP format because the unRAR process uses a diffrent folder to extract the files Once you have extracted the boot program in you EXCLUDED folder you can turn ON your antivirus again Now you can run your boot programs without NOD32 quarantining the files. ![]() Last edited by bugbags : 03-10-2008 at 05:57 PM. |

The 11 files that are infected will be in quaratine, (quaratine means you are safe )check that they are in quaratine, And if they are not a file that you recognise/or you want to keep, right click on the file/s, 1 by 1,and delete them all. ![]() Last edited by bugbags : 04-28-2008 at 04:51 AM. |

My version of Nod32 as above, does not seem to be updating virus definitions anymore,
both PC`s i have that are in two diffrent locations, with the same software. If i try to update,i get "Your version of Nod32 is up to date, no update necessary". My guess is the FiX applied has been patched. I have tried other versions without sucess also. |
