Default dll files in vista

[flag=us] zammy brada,i was also having da same problem..but i found a solution and it worked for me..hope it works for ya too
Go to Control Panel > User Accounts and Family Safety > User Accounts and there click Turn User Account Control on or off. Unselect Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer option and click OK. That’s it. Now try to register your DLLs and you would be able to do that without any hiccups.

Disable UAC:
C:WindowsSystem32cmd.exe /k %windir%System32reg.exeADD HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPolicies System /v EnableLUA /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

Enable UAC:
C:WindowsSystem32cmd.exe /k %windir%System32reg.exeADD HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPolicies System /v EnableLUA /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

Reboot your system and you are done.

And if you are getting this error while registering your DLLs -
The module REGSVR32 “C:\Program Files\xxx.dll? failed to load.

The module REGSVR32 “C:\Program Files\xxx.dll? failed to load.
Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files.
The specified module couldn’t be found.
.
(I don’t know why that extra dot in the end - may be UI bug from Vista team!)

It means you are not giving proper path. Try to correct the path for your DLL and you will be able to register it.

hope it helps...Vipra Peace

Default Easy ways to register .ocx & .dll files

1. Open notepad then type regsvr32 then the .ocx or .dll filename next to it.

ex. regsvr32 mscomct2.ocx..

or see the image below for better understanding.

2. After typing all .ocx and .dll files needed to be registered. Now its time to save it in .bat files.

see the in-circled run file in the image below

3. Now copy all the .ocx and .dll files into your windows system32 folder.

4. Then make a registration. just simply open the RUN.bat files.

a cmd will pop-up and a confirmation that the file has been registered. juzt click OK to continue registration of the other files.

it will close automatically after making registrations...

see the image below..

You can used this files in the future in case you have to register another files.

Just select the run.bat files,,then right-click and the click edit..And you'll be back in the notepad to make additional file registrations.

Don't forget to save...and don't forget to copy the files in your windows system32 folder....

that's it guys...ENJOY :!]
