TUTORIAL: Install Yahoo! Messenger Vista Version on Windows XP

Yahoo! released a special version of its messenger for Windows Vista, which has cool new features and interface. But its available only for Windows Vista. But here is a hack to install and use it in Windows XP

1. Download the required file from any of following links:

Yahoo Messenger Vista on Windows XP.rar (13.86 MB)

2. Extract the downloaded RAR file and run "dotnetfx3setup.exe" file.
3. Now run "Yahoo.Messenger.YmApp.exe" and you can enjoy the Yahoo! Messenger Vista version in Windows XP.

can u crack it to open more then one messy at a time like u can with messy 8.0 and 9.0 by editing the registery ??Plz let me know before I download

u can go into ur registery and edit messenger 8.1 to run more then one i have done it before and for 8.0....i was wonderin if u can patch it to open more then one at a time like the others

This one woks on my machine the only problem is i cant get the glass effect on the side....but its nice...i love the emoticones...
