Invisible nickname in chatroom - Page 5

11. then choose which Sn you want to be in invisible ( click the third link on right )
12. click the upper link which is ur edit profile
13. then put this " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " on second box or saying nickname
14. scroll down and click the small box
15. then click the bottom button on right side
you are now again in edit profile window
16. click the bottom button which is the OK
17. click the log out link ( far right of the window )
18. then click exit ( you need to exit for this to work )
19. click again the lg in button on YM and click log out
20. Now wait 5 sec and re-enter again, and you have now the invisible nickname [/quote]

i can hide it but theres one problem. evryone would see my id like this >> (myid) << on the room list. and when im typing it shows like this>>>> (myid) : hello yall <<<< how do i remove that ??

its may be happen coz somebody else in the current room has a same invisible methode with you (especially when you use && invi methode). Try to add & and then combine with Alt + 0160 (hold Alt button then 0160 in your nickname) please make sure you change your nickname under profile editor not change nickname from chat room yahoo messenger... Hope this will solve your problem...

i see some invisible ids but when they type in d room, d letters appear to have some color. How did they do that?

Take note that this only works with YM. The ID is visible in other clients.

So if you got only one YM running, theoretically it follows that only one blank ID can be sent in the room. However, if you have YM multi-login, i think you can have as many IDs. I have not tried this though as I do not use YM anymore for rooms and PMs.

Let me know it works for you. My penny of theoretical thoughts though.

[To mods: I am sorry for double-posting. I did not realized my 15-minute edit time has already expired.

Bro, log in you blank ID in yahelite. While in yahelite, change your colors to rainbow colors (blending or alternate for instance). for many colors just choose (add) colors to existing color list.

When done, type anyhting in the room as what you normally do. Open YM and get into same room, you will see you blank ID in multiple colors. It worked for me. Just try it bro.
