U know how to patch ur socks port using SP2-TCP_Patch..... But wht if u wanna roll bak to default configuration or wht if the ports u opened are corrupt....use the following soft(winsockxpFix) to roll bak or fix the opened ports....

It's for windows Xp...not sure if it's work wid vista 2....peace

everytime i run any proxie toy to search for proxies,,my proxie grabbers go crazy,,
they go like trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,,
same number with the difference of a single digit,
for example this is how it starts,,
201.5.5.5(imagine this is the starting range)then it goes like
201.5.5.6
201.5.5.7
and it goes on and on,and with seconds i have 1000000000 proxies but
none of the useful,,
i have changed the settings to '50' and then to '10'
but still no effect,,
coz markus suggest's and so does everybody to set it to
1000000,,i have tried that too,,but nothing works,,
what may b the reason,,can anyone explain?

its because ur firewall block it , u need to allow the connection !

the above is well stated..and i wish to add this note:[ author at this time is high on 'tha tweeds' and proceeds to ramble on his experience of booting when his peers have retired from it to pursue other illicit fun on the interwebs , and just use iggy..]

Ever noticed when you do a Yahoo boot, and lagg a bit, maybe even flood your own connection, and squeeze off voice? the defaulted 10 allows those OUTBOUND TCP connections sends on 10, thats right 10, one for webbrowser, your messenger..etc..then you booter with 1-1000 bots logged in to send per bot, packets..OUTBOUND info..repeat..what the booter sends, so the TCP/IP Stack limits it and queues it until an outbound opening is available, to complete that send..you heard of this patch makes, in common terms ( whether correct or erroneous) "half-open-ports" half as in 'one way' that is OUTBOUND, aside from scanning as this was basically shared for the purpose of scanning socks etc.. i use this to help stem that phenom of flooding my connection while booting heavily, and depending on the delivery, streamed or stacked, steady flow or a big banger booter, on a default of 10 vs. the suggested '100000', i have success @ the 10000 best utilizing the max potential of my cpu & connection for the task of booting lamers on yahoo
