the prob is... after i press any key to close window.. just done like that.. for no5 do not exit.. anew windowwith 3 options do not exit..

bro paste a screen shot..if you follow step by step then there should be no prob,,a screenshot would be better to see...to solve your problem..

is there a way to check if my half-open ports are set on what limit? i'm running an XP-sp2, but when i tried to use this prog (TCPIP patch), it says my tcpip.sys is not supported. i've read somewhere that the earlier xp-sp2 does not have this restriction (10 ports opened).

i just reformated my PC and i'm wondering - maybe i got a bad copy of sp2 (i tossed the old one that i used before). bcoz i'm having a hard time getting green socks lately.

chandler, any input from you will be very much appreciated. this also goes to all of you guys.

For those of you who got your windows updated with SP3 and not getting enough green socks may follow it.
This TCP/IP patch is designed for only versions of windows XP-SP3. TCP/IP connections can be allowed at one time by increasing the number (between 500 - 600). Remember, it'll speed up your Internet as well as your download and some other stuff.

Instructions:
- Unplug Internet Connections and Restart your computer to make sure TCP/IP file is not in use before you apply this Crack.

- Now Restart your system and get Internet Connection and feel the difference.

Hi ,

Could you please explain how this increase the internet speed? Is it download speed or upload speed?

I have heard about optimizing mtu values.But this is a new infomation for me. Any update appreciated.

i did everything you showed up there, but i did not get a windows at the end when you saidi have to press cancle then i get anotherwindow and i have to press yes!! when i restarted my pc connection was the same nothing changed,,, plz any help? i did not get the last window you talked about up there... everything else was goin fine except the cancle then yes thing!!
