Just so you know, YHook uses that old microsoft virtual machine rubbish which died back in 07. It won't run on Sun Java (the new sh*t) so you have to install Microsoft Virtual Machine (the old sh*t) and set it as default Java in IExplorer.

With Sun Java you will get just past the choose room phase and then the chat will pop up but all you will get is the Sun Java splash screen and it will just hang.

IMO YHook developers needa get with the times and add support for Sun Java :/

does yhook still work for anyone...for some reason mine dont enter room anymore starting in the middle of the day yesterday...the captcha doesn't show anymore..any idea?

yes it still works for me. Check your ymsg server (choose mud servers), http server and ymsg version protocol settings. Play with it till you get the right for you, i had that log in problem before.

I HAVE a yahook 466 version installed and working, BUT when i try to update it to 488, it WON't RUN... any inputs and suggestion about this problem? OR do i have same problems with other yhook USERS out there?

version 488 works fine. Here try my settings, if your having problems in login using htpp try changing the servers, and the ymsg version protocol. thats what i do when i have login problems and it woorks. otherwise just use version 484, still works and wait for another update. Mine for some reason is displaying a java screen instead of going to the chat/captcha screen, I love the client as well, hasnt been working for me for about 4 weeks, tried installing and un-installing different versions but no luck as yet, I am pulling my hair out.

if using java from sun microsystem inc it wont work...yhook is using old version of java from microsoft...u can find it in here.. but i think even if you dl it! still wont work.. microsoft encourage people not to use old java...reson is using old java cant easily get hack and some and so on...

admin from yhook said they will use old version of java..even they will released new version.......so we dont know the reason why..im just gving some ideas....read some comments abwt yhook..peace bro...

just uninstall it and install this version 484 and update im now using v490 [Only registered users can see links. ]
