YMSGv16 is now able to be logged into ...
That's correct, you read it right. As of just a few days ago you're now able to log into YMSGv16 protocol meaning Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 (since they probably won't go from 8.1 to 8.5) is around the corner. Through a simple registry edit you can do this ( YTK Pro uses the same registry hack for "Protocol Reversion").

Open up regedit and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\yahoo\pager\Test
Create a new DWORD called 'ProtocolVer' with the value in decimal of '16' or in hex of '10', either one will do. Now you'll be able to use Yahoo! Messenger 8.1 and sign into YMSG16 like Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 is going to be doing.

:? I tried it and I was only logged in for about 30 seconds then I was logged off :cry: ...I tried it several times and same results. Do you know why this is happening?

Moosa, just for the record, Adam's name is not Adam "Torque"..what you see on his name is coz him and Brock own Torseq Technologies, which is responsible for developing ytkpro.

..but there is one problem bro...YM 8.1 after how many seconds will sign out..do you have solution to this??

yepper indeed it works fine for me.. my 8.1 is now using YTK pro latest version with the New YSMGv16 lmao... thanx for the tip!
