just untick the auto resume below the pw before you login then before you joined the room you see the join chat as: choose you subprofile
if you tick auto resume you wont see your subprofile in joined caht as:

finally fixed i!!!! disabling p-p calls did the trick. However I'm having same issue on lite version, nwey who needs it....

by the way here is the ytk forim tech. support answer to this issue, in case someone has this issue they may try this. (im my case it did not work!!! lol)
In an effort to address and fix issues users have been having lately with logging in and back out, this tutorial has been created to troubleshoot and hopefully solve those issues. The issues include automatic disconnections when first signed on, and inabilities to sign in at all, or issues where YTK doesn't hook correctly with Yahoo! Messenger (grey tray icon).

First Step: Check for the following:

1. Make sure you have the latest YTK Pro build installed (Build 454). Look in the announcements section of the forums for the latest release.

2. Make sure Protocol Reversion is disabled (under Anti-Boot). Protocol Reversion will NOT work on the new AC4/SP1 servers. It will work however on the MUD servers ONLY.

3. Make sure you're using the newest version(s) of US English Messenger (be that v8.1.0.421 or v9.0.0.1389 beta). Remember, versions other than the US English version of Messenger may not and probably will not work.

4. Change the server from "Let Messenger Choose" to a AC4 or SP1 server of your choosing (doesn't matter which, use a MUD server as a last resort).


Second Step: If it still doesn't log in, check for the following:

1. Make sure any and all firewalls, anti-virus and anti-spyware utilities allow YTK Pro and Yahoo! Messenger full access.


Third Step: If YTK Pro + Messy has full access and still no connection, try the following:

1. Make sure YTK Pro and Messenger are closed completely, then go to Start > Run and copy the following into the Run box (on XP), or Start and copy the following into the search box (on Vista):





2. Delete all the files EXCEPT YTK.CDM (which is your license key file) then try to start YTK Pro + Messenger back up.

NOTE: By doing this, you WILL lose all ignores, filters, and safe list users, along with your custom ignore message!!!


Forth Step: If YTK Pro still doesn't log in after deleting these files, then do the following:

1. Do a clean uninstall of YTK Pro, and use the [Only registered users can see links. ] to remove all traces of YTK Pro.

2. Do a clean install of Yahoo! Messenger. The best way to do this is to use Dermot's [Only registered users can see links. ] application with both Messenger and YTK Pro closed.


Fifth Step: Finally, if all this fails, as the last resort you can try reformatting your computer.

Overall, if you continue to have login issues, please post in this section of the forums about the issues (after you've attempted to troubleshoot the issue) with as much information as possible, thanks!

sup yall!!!i have one question for YTK pro again,..when im in the room and when i switch gawd mode on,..uhhmm maybe a few minutes later the id tha im using in gawd mode wont let me post anything in the room,..any idea guys?

maybe your using a proxy on your Internet explorer, connect directly. another way is to use version ym v8 and just click the link if you have other browsers like mozilla its better, if your captcha banned put a working http poxy on mozilla. Why use the light version its buggy by now, the cracked pro version is more updated that that. Im not 100% sure that can fix but you can try

For winamp you need to install an older version of winamp first. then update to the newest version of winamp. Or stick with older version of winamp. For WMP (Windows Media Player) you need to register the YTKWMP.dll Then go to WMP and right click the top of WMP and scroll down to Tool, Plugins and make sure YTKP WMP Plugin is checked. For launchcast you don't have to do anything. For iTunes i dont know. Also these media broadcasts will only show in chat if your online status is set to available, busy, stepped away etc. The status's will not show in chat if you are invisible.
