POLICE HAVE arrested three men involved in a carjacking case in Dhaula Kuan in southwest Delhi. The three men robbed a car at gunpoint near Brar Square in southwest Delhi on Saturday night.
The accused have been identified as Karnail Singh (30), Nirmal Singh (32) and Gurmeet Singh (31). Police said they had previous cases of dacoity and robbery registered against them in and around Delhi.
On Saturday when Sanjeev Rana, a taxi driver, was changing the tyres of his car near Brar Square, the three robbers came on a motorcycle, beat him up and snatched away his vehicle. "One of the motorcyclists showed Rana a countrymade pistol and pulled him out of the car.
He got inside the car and sped away while the two others fled on their motorcycle towards Dhaula Kuan," said Shalini Singh, DCP (southwest). A case was lodged at Delhi Cantt.

Nirmal Singh stayed in Dubai for eight years where he used to work as a taxi driver. After returning, he stepped into the world of crime to make fast money.
He was also involved in a dacoity case in Punjab.
